Helpful tips when planning a holiday to Universal Orlando Resort

With Universal Orlando Resort boasting 2 of the top 20 visited theme parks in the world it attracts more than its fair share of visitors each year. These helpful tips will help you to hit the ground running so more time can be spent on the rides rather than at the information booths.

  • Universal Express Passes – Over 18million people flood to Universal Orlando Resort each year. This means that rides and attractions are very busy. The resort offers a Universal Express Passes, for an additional fee, which allows guest to use a separate Universal Express line. Only Universal Express Pass holders are allowed to use. There are various express passes to choose from depending on the length of your trip. The passes are only applicable to particular rides at both theme park and water park.

  • Multi-Day Pass – This is a one pass for all deal. Holders of the Multi-Day Pass will have access to all areas, depending on which pass you go for. Like the Universal Express Pass, Universal Orlando Resort offers a variety of Multi-Day Passes.

  • Planning Ahead – If you have an idea of the rides and parks you want to experience, this can save both time and money. Allowing you the possibility of an exciting yet relaxing experience at the same time. There will no need to rush around panicking, wondering about what rides to go on and what parks they are in. With the option of the Universal Express and Multi-Day Passes planning ahead will allow you to choose the option most applicable to you and your group.

  • Stay At One of the On-Site Resorts – With all hotel resorts offering Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Volcano Bay an hour before the doors are opened to the general public. This allows you to beat the initial rush to everyone’s favorite rides and more importantly, you are able to reserve those all important sun loungers first when spending time at Volcano Bay. All of the on-site hotels offer free transportation to the theme parks, which helps take the load off. 3 of the 5 hotels also offer free complimentary Universal Unlimited Express Passes for everyone who stays with them. So although staying on-site may be more expensive then other hotels outside of Universal Orlando Resort, the savings made on the prices will certainly add up!
